Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy Level I trauma center operating room.
• Work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each day, predominantly during daytime hours (8:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.).
• Assist with surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including trauma, transplant, ortho, neuro, ENT, GYN, and robotics.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, supporting various surgical units and shifts as required.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding on-call duties, holiday work, and emergency response, including hurricane season readiness.
• Maintain necessary certifications, including BLS and Radiation Badge, and uphold hospital standards for patient safety and surgical protocol.

Required Qualifications

• Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• At least 2 years of perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Radiation Badge (to be provided by agency).
• Open to first-time travelers with appropriate qualifications.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Surgical scrub experience highly preferred.
• Experience working in a Level I trauma center and with EPIC charting preferred.
