• Full-time, 3 days per week, day shift (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit within a Level I Trauma Center.
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and document care according to hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including RNs, PCCs, and physicians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with patient assessments and contribute to care planning.
• Follow all hospital policies and safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Active LVN or LPN license in the state of Tennessee or a valid compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical or similar unit.
• Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center preferred.
• Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records.
• Comfortable working in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environment.
• Experience with team nursing ratios of 1:7 or higher.
