Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in labor and delivery units during night shifts.
• Monitor fetal well-being and progress labor accordingly, utilizing required certifications.
• Collaborate with medical teams to ensure safe delivery and maternal care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with facility procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and patient needs promptly during night hours.
Required Qualifications
• Valid nursing license in the state of Tennessee.
• AWHONN fetal monitoring intermediate course certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience working in a hospital setting with labor and delivery units.
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
