• Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, days shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care in a multi-trauma, trauma, and step-down unit for complex patients.
• Manage ventilated, trached, and chest tube patients with a high level of competency.
• Perform procedures such as placement of chest tubes and bedside bronchoscopies.
• Collaborate with a team of skilled nurses and physicians to deliver quality patient care.
• Utilize Meditech EMR to document patient information accurately.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort, adhering to trauma unit policies and protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to manage chest tubes, trauma patients, trachs, and suction.
• At least 2 years of RN experience, preferably in acute care or trauma settings.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification.
• Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center or similar high-acuity environment.
• Comfortable working with advanced equipment such as vents, feeding pumps, and wound vacs.
• Strong team-player attitude with excellent communication skills.
