Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, document findings, and update treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Support patients with complex needs including spinal, neuro, trauma, surgical cases, and trauma-related injuries.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nursys License verification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Epic EMR system proficiency.
• Ability to work night shifts.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse patient populations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for trauma, neuro, spinal, or surgical patients.
• Familiarity with handling complex or high-acuity cases such as gunshot wounds or quadriplegia.
• Knowledge of hospital policies related to patient safety and infection control.
