Schedule / Job Type
- Days, 13-week assignment, 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm), on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in labor and delivery settings
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals during labor
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective delivery processes
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain compliance with hospital and industry standards for maternal and newborn care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the labor and delivery specialty
- Valid AHS BLS certification
- Valid AHA ACLS certification
- Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
- Current RN license in Georgia
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
- Additional certifications in neonatal or maternal care
