Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve, distribute, and maintain medical records and documentation.
- Maintain a chart tracking system to ensure accurate and current information retrieval.
- Answer phone lines and provide department coverage.
- Serve as a positive representative of the healthcare organization.
- Handle all medical records, including electronic medical records (EMR) and paper charts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills, including use of fax and copier.
- Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in medical records or related role helpful but not mandatory.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (EMR).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
