• Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care to adult and geriatric populations in a telemetry unit.
• Float between hospital units as needed, including neuro spine, general surgery, orthopedics, wounds, diabetic care, COVID-19, and oral surgery.
• Chart patient data using Epic electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to patient needs during night shifts.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri or a compact state with in-hand licensing at time of submission.
• Epic charting experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting.
• NIH, ACLS, BCLS certifications.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Ability to float within hospital units and to affiliate hospitals as needed.
• Valid Social Security Number and Date of Birth required.
• Must meet travel compliance deadlines and pass fit testing (facial hair restrictions apply).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a short-term acute care facility.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Knowledge of unit-specific skills for neuro spine, general surgery, and wound care.

Additional Details

• Shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
• Travel compliance and licensing requirements must be met at submission.
• No local candidates within a 75-mile radius; travel candidates preferred.
• Nearly all travel candidates must have Epic experience and meet all hospital and licensing requirements.
