Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated nursing care on a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit within an acute care hospital
• Manage critical cardiac patients, including administration of cardiac drips, sheath pulls, and central line management
• Perform hourly patient rounds and bedside shift reports to ensure quality care and compliance
• Float within patient units and affiliated hospitals as needed within scope of practice
• Document care using EPIC electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Valid Illinois RN license (or in process of obtaining prior to start)
• Minimum of 2 years of related nursing experience in telemetry or cardiac units
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with cardiac drips, sheath pulls, and central lines
• Ability to self-sufficiently manage critical care patients in a high-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC charting experience
• Previous telemetry or cardiac step-down experience
• Ability to work self-directed in a high-stress setting
