Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Labor & Delivery unit, including high-risk obstetric cases.
- Interpret ECGs accurately and provide immediate newborn care.
- Circulate and recover patients during cesarean sections and other procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a Level 2 trauma designated facility.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a nurse-patient ratio of 2:1 during shifts.
- Adhere to facility protocols and safety standards, including certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and advanced fetal monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in Labor & Delivery or Mother/Baby units.
- Strong ECG interpretation skills and experience with immediate newborn care.
- Active AHA-BLS, AHA-ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN-Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications.
- Prior experience with LDRP or L&D nursing preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in high-acuity or high-risk obstetric areas.
- Previous experience in a designated trauma or stroke center.
