Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit at a reputable hospital.
- Monitor and assess patient condition, administer medications, and document care activities accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols, including completing required assessments and certifications.
- Work rotating day and night shifts according to operational needs, including working at least every other holiday.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio license or Compact license in hand at time of submission.
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignment.
- Recent MS/Tele experience (travel experience counts).
- Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores.
- Ability to work the required shifts and adhere to compliance and documentation standards, including background check and drug screens.
- Recent and valid clearance within required timeframes (FBI/BCI prints within 48 hours).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with oncology or chemotherapy administration preferred; training available for qualified candidates.
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
