Key Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiography and ultrasound procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pediatric imaging techniques and protocols.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
• Document all procedures thoroughly in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and patient care procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography and ultrasound, specifically with pediatric patients.
• Certification in Echocardiography (ECHO) required; valid RDCS or RCS credentials accepted.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• EPIC EMR experience is mandatory.
• Must have no gaps in employment over 30 days without a valid explanation.
• Must have at least two professional references dated within the past 12 months.
• Skills checklist completed within the past 12 months.
• Willing to attend EPIC training during orientation and test out, if necessary.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital environment.
• Pediatric imaging specialization.
• Familiarity with Tallahassee healthcare facilities and local travel preferences.
