Key Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric echocardiography and ultrasound procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pediatric imaging techniques and protocols.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
- Document all procedures thoroughly in the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging.
- Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and patient care procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography and ultrasound, specifically with pediatric patients.
- Certification in Echocardiography (ECHO) required; valid RDCS or RCS credentials accepted.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- EPIC EMR experience is mandatory.
- Must have no gaps in employment over 30 days without a valid explanation.
- Must have at least two professional references dated within the past 12 months.
- Skills checklist completed within the past 12 months.
- Willing to attend EPIC training during orientation and test out, if necessary.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a hospital environment.
- Pediatric imaging specialization.
- Familiarity with Tallahassee healthcare facilities and local travel preferences.
