Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Burn Trauma ICU, managing critically ill patients.
- Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform procedures such as wound care, EVD management, and codes.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.
- Offer support and education to patients and their families.
- Maintain adherence to unit policies and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year ICU experience relevant to trauma, burn, general ICU, or surgical ICU.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work night shifts and participate in weekend rotations.
- Certifications in relevant areas, as required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BSN degree.
- CCRN certification.
- Experience with burn and trauma patient care.
