• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, working 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized ICU patient care in a 16-bed surgical/oncology unit.
• Perform advanced ICU procedures including central line placements, bedside thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations.
• Administer treatments and monitor critically ill patients using all ICU equipment such as ventilators, GE cardiac output monitors, Arctic Sun, and NXStage.
• Follow hospital protocols and documentation procedures using Meditech system.
• Collaborate with team members to manage patient acuity and ensure quality care delivery.
• Adhere to hospital and unit-specific policies including floating and attendance regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas (temp licenses not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, preferably in a surgical or oncology population.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with ICU equipment, including ventilators and monitors.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification preferred.
• Experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocols.
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system.
