Job Title

• Therapist – Respiratory Therapist

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, diagnostic testing, and prescribed treatment for respiratory therapy patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and maintain accurate department records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to prioritize triage and patient care needs.
• Support hospital operations during peak times and respond quickly to emergent situations.
• Conduct arterial blood gases draws and handle other specialized procedures as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License (RRT).
• Active AHA BLS Certification.
• NRP Certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to draw arterial blood gases.
• Experience working with EMR systems.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local travelers not accepted).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a hospital or medical setting, especially in a slower-paced environment.
• Experience with triage and quick response scenarios.
