Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel assignment, nights shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 13-week duration
• 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized ICU nursing care to critically ill patients in a MICU setting.
• Perform advanced procedures such as central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations.
• Monitor patient vitals and responses using ICU-specific equipment including ventilators, cardiac output monitors, and other advanced devices.
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and unit-specific policies, including float policies and dress code.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas (no temporary licenses accepted)
• 2+ years of MICU or MSICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with ICU equipment and procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
• CCRN certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of advanced ICU procedures and equipment
