- Travel, Full-time, Days, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide preoperative nursing care for adult patients in a day surgery setting
- Administer IV starts and monitor patient vitals and responses
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient readiness for procedures
- Document patient information accurately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
- Support patient education and prepare patients for post-op procedures
- Maintain compliance with unit policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas or appropriate state license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with IVStarts
- Familiarity with Meditech Electronic Medical Record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PreAdmit Testing experience
- Pediatric nursing experience
- Experience with general surgery, gynecology, or orthopedic scopes
