Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night and Day 3x12-hour shifts, rotating schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit at a prominent hospital campus
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Ensure compliance with all safety and documentation protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Work at least every other holiday as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry specialty prior to travel assignments
• Recent MS/Tele experience (travel experience acceptable)
• Must hold an active Ohio or Compact state nursing license
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including nights and days
• Willingness to work scheduled holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large hospital setting or travel nursing preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Candidates must have a valid permanent Ohio license or a compact license issued on or after January 1, 2023. All certifications must be current and active. A background check and fingerprinting are required prior to start. Preference is given to candidates with recent hospital-based experience and excellent references from supervisors or physicians.
