Schedule / Job Type
• Rotating shifts, full-time, 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers, assisting with deliveries and postpartum care.
• Monitor fetal well-being using GE/Centricity fetal monitoring systems.
• Assist with immediate newborn care following delivery.
• Support patients and families through labor and recovery processes.
• Document care and procedures accurately in computerized systems such as Meditech.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Current Hawaii nursing license (must be obtained prior to start for travelers not currently licensed).
• BLS and NRP certifications (required).
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (recommended).
• Experience with GE/Centricity fetal monitoring systems.
• Ability to work variable day and night shifts, including scheduled call shifts.
