Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, contract, nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage across similar units or sister facilities.
• Participate in holiday rotation and emergency response activities as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina nursing license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• At least 1 year of cardiac ICU experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Minimum 12-hour shift availability.
• Ability to obtain SC license or prove license application if pending.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-acuity cardiac or ICU setting.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system.
• Experience working in a large, acute care hospital setting.
