• Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts, full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, including EKG analysis and dysrhythmia management.
• Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and interventions.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including procedures involving Balloon Pump, Impella, and CRRT.
• Ensure adherence to all healthcare protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years nursing experience in a critical care or ICU setting.
• Valid RN license in hand or compact license accepted.
• EPIC certification required for all nursing specialties, including CVICU.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Ability to pass an advanced dysrhythmia competency test.
• Willingness to work weekend rotations (every third weekend).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced cardiac procedures such as Balloon Pump, Impella, and CRRT.
• Familiarity with CDC and hospital policies related to critical care.
• Ability to float to different ICU units as needed.
