Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute individualized rehabilitation programs to improve patients' physical function following injury or surgery.
• Consult with patients, review medical histories, and assess movement dysfunction to diagnose issues.
• Provide hands-on therapy such as massage, muscular and skeletal manipulation, and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor patient progress, maintain detailed records, and communicate updates to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists and other healthcare providers, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families to reduce anxiety and promote active participation in recovery.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Experience working directly with patients in a long-term care or hospital setting.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care to diverse patient populations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Knowledge of additional therapies or modalities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
