Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care nursing for ICU patients in a hospital setting
• Float within scope to support ED and Med Surg units as needed
• Support on the floors with tasks such as patient sitter or PCT roles when required
• Document patient care using the EPIC charting system
• Respond to urgent situations, including running codes and initiating emergency procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Valid state RN license (MO licensed or compact license required at submission; Illinois licenses are not eligible unless a valid license exists)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• Competent in code responses and critical care procedures
• Ability to float within hospital departments and support diverse patient needs
• Must have EPIC electronic medical records experience
• Valid SSN and DOB required at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital with critical care codes
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with hospital policies for travel compliance and RTO restrictions
