Full-time, nights (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hospice nursing care to patients in their homes, including symptom management and patient assessment.
- Perform routine procedures such as trach care, feeding tubes, suctioning, wound care, and port management.
- Document patient care accurately using the EPIC charting system.
- Respond to acute patient needs, triage symptoms, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
- Manage specialized equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, pain pumps, and drains.
- Travel within designated territory (40-80 miles radius), providing care at multiple patient locations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of recent hospice, home health, inpatient, ER, ICU, or critical care nursing experience.
- Valid RN license in Missouri or a compact state (license must be in hand at time of submission).
- BLS certification.
- Ability to travel up to 80 miles within the territory.
- Must have a valid SSN and date of birth for background checks.
- Must be fully vaccinated and meet compliance deadlines.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- EPIC charting system experience.
- Experience managing complex nursing procedures and patient triage.
- Flexibility to float within hospital service lines as needed.
