Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

• Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Full-time, temporary travel assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
• Manage patient assessments, monitor fetal and maternal well-being, and support labor processes
• Administer medications and perform IV starts as required
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care
• Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records
• Float to related units as needed and appropriate

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Valid compact or state nursing license in Ohio
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Certification in NCC, C-EFM or acceptable alternative (e.g., AWHONN Advanced)
• Epic electronic medical record experience required
• Proven IV start and L&D skills

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Ability to float to other units if necessary
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Additional Notes
• Strict compliance with Ohio fingerprinting process prior to start; immediate completion required
• RTO (Reasonable Time Off) must be requested during submission and incorporated into the contract
• References: Two professional references required, including at least one from a leadership position
• Travelers within driving distance will need to complete fingerprinting in Ohio; remote candidates will receive fingerprinting packets by mail
