- Registered Nurse - Mother Baby/Postpartum
Location
- Houston, TX
Schedule / Job Type
- Night shift, 13-week travel assignment, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to postpartum and Mother/Baby unit patients
- Monitor and assess mother and newborns’ health status
- Assist with procedures such as circumcisions and other routine postpartum care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately in EMR systems
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- Maternal/Baby postpartum experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- GYN experience
- Experience with EMR systems such as CPN and Meditech
- Energetic personality fit for the postpartum environment
