Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to critical situations promptly
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient status and interventions accurately in medical records
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
- Float to related units such as Stepdown/PCU as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ICU experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center
- Experience with CTS and Neuro patients
- Trauma Nurse Certification (TNCC)

Additional Details
- Experience with float requirements to Stepdown/PCU units
- Weekend work required every 3rd weekend
- Holiday shifts required (one major and one minor holiday)
- On-call responsibilities with flexibility for cancellations based on census and staffing levels
- Orientation sessions scheduled at various points before the start date
- Bi-weekly pay schedule
- Nicotine-free facility
- Minimum 2 hours’ notice for shift cancellations
