• Full-time, contract, 3x12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric critical care nursing in a float pool across various pediatric units including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU.
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, covering all pediatric units.
• Work three 12-hour daytime shifts per week, including every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, including RTO submissions and hurricane season adjustments.
• Adhere to unit patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3 and assist with emergency response as needed during hurricane season.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience.
• Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association accepted).
• Ability to float to various pediatric units within the facility.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ECMO and CRRT therapies.
• Ability to work a block schedule, subject to manager approval.
• Prior travel or float pool nursing experience is a plus.

• Hurricane season runs from June through November. During this period, staff may be assigned to emergency response if necessary.
