Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to labor and delivery patients in a rural community hospital setting.
- Manage an average of 45-50 deliveries per month with corresponding patient care.
- Perform intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring to ensure maternal and fetal wellbeing.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and float to assist other departments as needed, without serving as a primary nurse in those areas.
- Cover 12-hour shifts, totaling 45-50 shifts per week, with additional compensation for charge nurse duties when assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii RN license.
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Proficiency in fetal monitoring (intermediate or advanced level).
- Ability to work 72-80 hours every two weeks.
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced delivery environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Nursery or couplet care experience.
- Experience working in rural or community hospital settings.
