- Full-time, travel assignment, working 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures as a First Assist in a busy OR setting
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure smooth operative workflows
- Support robotic, orthopedic, neuro/spine, and general surgeries using advanced OR equipment
- Adapt to various specialist procedures, maintaining patient safety and surgical precision
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing weekend and evening support as needed
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Virginia nursing license or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Surgical Tech or First Assist
- Robotic surgery experience
- Orthopedic surgery experience
- Neuro/spine surgery experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
- Ability to perform a variety of surgical procedures, excluding transplants and cardiac surgeries
- Proven team player with strong communication skills
