Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and progressive care patients in a 10-bed unit.
• Monitor and operate medical equipment including telemetry monitors, IV pumps, chest tubes, and ventilators.
• Administer cardiac drips such as dobutamine, dopamine, and Levo; manage external pacemakers.
• Assist with procedures like pericardial centesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertions.
• Document patient progress and interventions using Sunrise EMR.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of New Hampshire or suitable compact license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Cardio-thoracic post-op surgery experience.
• Ability to manage cardiac drips and external pacemaker systems.
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac drips like dobutamine, dopamine, and Levo.
• External pacemaker management skills.
• Knowledge of advanced procedures such as pericardial drains, thoracentesis, and chest tube placement.

Additional Details

• Position: Travel RN - PCU
• Duration: 12 weeks, starting 01/26/2026
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Worksite: Manchester, NH at Catholic Medical Center
• Rate: $95 per hour

Note: This is a travel assignment with mandatory certifications and experience in cardiac postoperative care and management of cardiac drips.
