Key Responsibilities

• Administer hemodialysis treatments to inpatient and outpatient clients suffering from renal failure, fluid overload, or electrolyte imbalances.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and treatment responses during dialysis sessions.
• Utilize Braun Dialysis Machines and Fresenius Critline Monitoring systems.
• Perform dialysis treatments at bedside when medically necessary, in addition to unit-based treatments.
• Maintain strong critical thinking skills to manage complex patient needs across a wide age range (18-100).
• Follow facility protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout treatment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or a compact license.
• Minimum of 1 year of dialysis or relevant clinical experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting system is preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in call rotation, typically one call shift per week.
• Must be able to work within the scope of dialysis care and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience performing dialysis treatments in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with Braun Dialysis Machines and Critline Monitoring.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and critical care environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted; only travelers outside this radius are eligible. References, certifications, and compliance documentation as specified are required prior to start.
This position offers guaranteed hours and is scheduled overnight in a hospital setting with a 36-hour guarantee per week.
