Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily patient flow to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction
- Triage incoming patient requests and provide appropriate care
- Deliver patient education to support care plans and promote wellness
- Delegate care appropriately according to state regulations
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures following safety guidelines
- Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality service
- Advocate for patient safety and preferences using relationship-based care principles
- Demonstrate organizational values and foster a Just Culture environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year operating room experience
- Valid RN license in Colorado or a compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to obtain necessary computer skills within 90 days to complete online training and documentation
- Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity surgical setting preferred
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
