Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients across a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community-based, and home health environments.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for physical and developmental disorders in both adult and pediatric populations.
- Float between departments and local locations within a 20-mile radius as needed.
- Promote patient independence and coordinate care efforts with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure adherence to regulations and standards, maintaining detailed documentation of patient care.
- Support discharge planning and advocate for patients’ well-being throughout their rehabilitation process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate preferred.
- Valid New Mexico PT license.
- Minimum of one year of pediatric or inpatient/outpatient therapy experience, including at least one 13-week travel assignment.
- Basic computer skills.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
- Additional certifications or training in pediatric or adult therapy modalities.
