Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to medical surgical patients in a hospital setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergent needs during night shifts.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and healthcare regulations.
- Document patient interactions accurately and thoroughly.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent medical surgical nursing experience.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a rotating schedule.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of cardiac care protocols.
