• Full-time, 12-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care in an ICU setting, including routine and complex patient treatments.
• Administer medications and therapies using established protocols, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess patient and family learning needs, offering education and resources.
• Make appropriate patient care assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers as needed.
• Demonstrate leadership in self, others, or teams while adhering to ANA standards and organizational competencies.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Mexico or a compact state.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• One year of experience in a critical care or ICU setting preferred.
• Ability to work 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., including six weekend shifts in a six-week period, with on-call responsibilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Critical Care or ICU experience highly preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills.
