- Pasadena, TX
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shift, 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown setting
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and conditions, ensuring timely intervention when necessary
- Document patient assessments, care provided, and progress in Meditech EMR system
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and unit policies
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Certification or equivalent
- At least 1 year of recent experience in an IMCU/PCU/Stepdown setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Experience working in fast-paced hospital units
- Demonstrated team player with positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work effectively under pressure
