Schedule / Job Type
- 13-week contract, night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in the labor, delivery, and recovery units
- Monitor fetal and maternal well-being during labor and postpartum
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient progress and care activities accurately and timely
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification or equivalent
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong understanding of maternal and neonatal health protocols
