Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for individuals with cardiac conditions including STEMI/NSTEMI, CHF, and post-cardiothoracic surgery patients.
• Manage patients with noninvasive ventilation, antiarrhythmic IV medications, and peripheral vascular compromise.
• Cover a 33-bed unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.
• Work 6 consecutive night shifts per 6-week schedule, including 6 weekend shifts.
• Float to Med/Surg or ER as needed to cover CVCU/Med Surg holds.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of stepdown experience.
• Valid RN license.
• Experience with cardiac patient care procedures.
• Ability to float to Med/Surg or ER units as required.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a fast-paced cardiac or stepdown unit.
• Strong critical thinking and patient management skills.
