Job Title
• Sterile Processing Technician (Tech - Sterile Processing Tech)

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Onsite, Days shifts (5x8 hours)

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment following hospital protocols.
• Operate sterilizers, washers, and tracking systems such as CensiTrac and Belimed.
• Manage tray assembly and ensure proper documentation within EPIC charting system.
• Float within scope of practice to support various hospital units and affiliated facilities as needed.
• Adhere to hospital safety policies, including no use of earbuds or cellphones during shifts.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, license, and certification requirements.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of sterile processing experience in a hospital setting.
• Valid state license in Missouri or a compact license; Illinois licenses are not accepted unless applicable.
• Certification through CBSPD or CRST (through HSPA/IAHCSMM).
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency with CensiTrac, Belimed washers/sterilizers, and EPIC charting system.
• Ability to work 8-hour day shifts, with scheduled shifts typically from 0600 to 1430.
• Must have a valid SSN and DOB available at the time of application.
• Willing to adhere to RTO restrictions of no more than 7 days per 13-week contract.
• No local candidates accepted (within 75 miles).

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with trauma cases and hospital-specific sterilization protocols.
• Familiarity with hospital security and parking procedures.
• Availability to work in a fast-paced, acute care environment.
