Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology Lab, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assist with procedures such as diagnostic cardiac cath, PCI, structural heart interventions, and occasional pediatric electrophysiology cases.
• Ensure documentation accuracy within Meditech and MacLab systems.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Support on-call requirements, including a 12-hour shift on Saturdays every third week.
• Collaborate with cardiology and electrophysiology teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Texas RN license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• Minimum of 2+ years of RN experience in an electrophysiology or cardiac cath lab setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with Meditech and MacLab documentation systems.
• Ability to float across different units as needed.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5+ years of experience performing diagnostic cardiac cath, PCI, STEMI, and structural heart procedures.
• Pediatric EP experience.
• Knowledge of TAVR and TMVR procedures.
• Advanced skills in cardiac procedures.
