Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, rotating shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Perform procedures including splinting and breathing treatments
- Monitor patient conditions using advanced equipment such as GE monitors and IV pumps
- Adhere to hospital protocols, including EMR documentation and safety standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and pediatrics
Required Qualifications
- Valid Alaska RN license at the time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Stroke and STEMI experience
- Trauma and pediatric care experience
- Prior experience working with EPIC EMR system
