Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of surgery.
• Ensure delivery of quality patient care by utilizing the nursing process, standards of care, policies, and procedures.
• Act as a patient advocate throughout the surgical experience.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to coordinate patient care and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Oregon.
• Proven experience in perioperative nursing or operating room settings.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts during days.
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures, standards, and safety policies.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working as an OR nurse in a hospital setting.
• Certification in perioperative nursing (e.g., CNOR) preferred.
• Ability to float to other departments as needed and adapt to different patient care settings.
