Registered Nurse - CVICU
Location: Charlottesville, VA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts (4x12 hours)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), focusing on post-operative cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret complex data, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and float policies while maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed.
  Required Qualifications:
• Valid Virginia RN license (pending licenses accepted with approval, license must be in-hand by start date).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Epic electronic health record experience.
• Ability to work night shifts and uphold float policies.
• Must have completed clinical review and auto offer process.
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• BSN degree preferred.
• Prior experience in critical care or CVICU setting.
• Strong assessment and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
• Experience with Tier 2 travel compliance and RTO management.
