- Full-time, Contract, Onsite, Day shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in a Level III or IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Attend high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries as required
- Administer blood products, medications, and support respiratory therapies such as CPAP, BiPAP, high-frequency vents, and oscillators
- Monitor and manage therapies including PICC or central lines, syringe pumps, and cooling/warming blankets
- Assist with feeding tubes and other specialized neonatal care procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across multiple hospital campuses and float to different units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of neonatal intensive care nursing experience
- Active Washington or Compact nursing license
- Experience with Level III or IV NICU patients, including infants 23-24 weeks gestation
- Knowledge of high-risk delivery procedures and neonatal surgeries
- Ability to float between different hospital campuses and units
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a large NICU with a high census
- Familiarity with neonatal ventilation and advanced life support equipment
- Strong knowledge of neonatal blood and blood product administration
- Experience with communication and documentation in a fast-paced neonatal environment
