Schedule / Job Type
• Contract / Travel assignment / 4x12-hour shifts, variable days and nights, rotating schedule
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to LTC/SNF residents in a licensed facility.
• Administer medications and monitor patient health status.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic charting systems.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including some coverage within hospital or affiliate locations.
Required Qualifications
• Valid Alaska LVN or LPN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of LTC or SNF experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule and holidays.
• Complete all mandatory certifications and comply with facility-specific immunizations, including Hep B vaccination or exemption documentation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous travel or LTC/SNF facility experience.
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems (Epic preferred).
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and float within scope.
