Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, temporary travel assignment, Days shift (12-hour shifts), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in a Level III or IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Monitor and manage infants requiring high-level medical interventions such as CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency vents, oscillators, and Vents
- Administer blood products, perform cardioversion/defibrillation, and utilize warming/cooling blankets as needed
- Support high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries, attending to infants with complex medical needs
- Float to different campuses/Pediatrics units as required, with minimal patient admittance due to unit structure
- Maintain compliance with all travel and facility-specific protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of NICU nursing experience in a Level III or IV facility
- Active Washington license or valid Compact license
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, three days per week
- Willingness to float to different units/campuses as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience with Neonatal procedures such as PICC/Central Lines, Syringe Pumps, and high-frequency ventilation
- Familiarity with high-risk delivery procedures and neonatal surgeries
- Strong knowledge of neonatal equipment and vent management
