Schedule / Job Type
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized neonatal care in a Level III or IV NICU setting.
- Attend high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries as part of the care team.
- Administer blood products, medications, and manage ventilators including CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency vents, and oscillators.
- Insert and care for feeding tubes, PICC/Central lines, and syringe pumps.
- Support infants with cooling/warming blankets and other advanced neonatal interventions.
- Float to other units such as Issaquah, Edmonds SCN, or Pediatrics/NBN when needed, with limited float to Peds.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of neonatal ICU nursing experience.
- Valid Washington license or compact license.
- Current certifications verifying clinical competencies (e.g., BLS, NRP).
- Ability to work night shifts and float across different campuses as needed.
- Experienced in managing high-acuity neonatal patients, including those on high-frequency ventilation and blood products.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with managing infants between 23-24 weeks gestation.
- Experience with neonatal surgeries and high-risk deliveries.
- Prior work within a Level III or IV NICU.
