Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Nights, 12-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week, 6-week duration

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the CVPICU setting, including post-operative management of cardiac patients.
• Perform procedures such as arterial and central line placement, intubation, and postoperative recovery.
• Monitor and manage critically ill pediatric patients with congenital heart disease or other complex cardiac conditions.
• Collaborate with medical teams to ensure continuous, high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to unit policies and safety protocols, including emergency codes and ECMO management.

Required Qualifications
• Pediatric CICU or CVICU experience as a staff nurse for at least 1 year.
• Minimum of 2 years PICU nursing experience.
• Certification in PALS and BLS.
• Experience managing patients with congenital heart disease, including post-operative care.
• Proficiency with arterial lines, central lines, and other critical care equipment.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• 2+ years of Pediatric CICU/CVICU nursing experience.
• At least 1 year caring for neonatal cardiac patients pre- and post-op.
• Step-down or cardiology floor experience in pediatric cardiac care.
