Key Responsibilities
- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic imaging equipment in various departments, including OR, ER, inpatient units, and portable settings.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper documentation.
- Collaborate with team members, including students, and perform competency check-offs as needed.
- Adapt to float shifts across departments, providing flexibility to meet department needs.
- Willing to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging procedures to expand skill set.
- Support trauma level 1 and level 2 imaging requirements with experience in high-volume, critical care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large bed trauma Level 2 facility.
- Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current ARRT certification and BLS certification.
- Experience with radiologic and fluoroscopic imaging equipment, including GE, Phillips, and CareStream systems.
- Proficiency in EMR systems such as EPIC and Sectra.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in OR, ED, inpatient, and portable imaging environments.
- Comfortable working with pediatric and neonatal patients.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-pressure trauma settings.
